In his latest article for Syria News, Mr. Heuer harshly criticizes the failure of the Russian Army to repel the Ukrainian attacks deep into the Russian homeland inflicting considerable damage after 2 years of the 'Special Military Operation', notwithstanding the Russian relentless onslaught on Ukraine, is the failure deliberate, he asks?
Yes, the Russians are 'grinding' the Ukrainians in an 'attrition' war, but also the Ukrainians on their part are delivering harm on Russia and are killing Russian soldiers and civilians despite the over-confidence presented by the 'Kremlin-loudspeakers' as described by Mr. Heuer.
What are the goals of the Russian leadership extending the war and allowing the US-led NATO to continuously cross the red lines under the excuse of avoiding falling into the trap of escalating, who's the one falling into the trap, here? And repeatedly so?

People get emotional about Russia while ignoring the repeated blunders explained by you, Arabi Souri, throughout the past 10 years, and by so many others like Stefan here, each of those blunders was deadly enough to cause thousands of unnecessary deaths, suffering, and displacement, including among the Russians who Mr. Putin and his leadership want to protect. Waiting for your enemy, especially when your enemy is genocidal, to get back to their senses is not a strategy while they gain the battles and you might eventually win the war but with the highest unnecessary prices: Georgia 2008, Ukraine 2014, Libya 2011, Syria from 2011 through 2025, Armenia ongoing, and so on..
