The CEO of a medical Israeli company was fired yesterday after a video surfaced of him eating a sandwich that belonged to one of his workers. The incident, which occurred during a company lunch break, was captured on video by a fellow employee and quickly spread on social media.
In the video, the CEO can be seen nonchalantly picking up the sandwich from a communal fridge and taking a bite, seemingly unaware that the sandwich belonged to one of his employees. When confronted by the employee, the CEO initially tried to defend his actions, saying that he had not seen any labels indicating that the sandwich was not meant for communal consumption.
However, the employee argued that the sandwich was clearly marked with their name and that the CEO should have known better. The argument quickly escalated, and the employee ended up quitting on the spot.
The video caused outrage on social media, with many calling for the CEO to be fired. The company's board of directors released a statement condemning the CEO's actions and announcing that he had been fired, effective immediately.
The incident has sparked a conversation about workplace respect and the importance of treating coworkers with dignity and kindness. Many have praised the employee for standing up for themselves and calling out the CEO's behavior. It remains to be seen how the company will move forward in the wake of this scandal.

It's so crazy that he had that much pride that he didn't just admit he was wrong. He was a CEO, he could have offered his employee a much better meal.
Clearly a boosted ego. Ego pushes people to create and thats good but without respect to others there is no balance. And you need balance not to fall.
