I discovered JoJo last year from a post here on hive, apparently Jojo's bizarre adventures is a big thing I somehow missed while growing up!
I loved the first two seasons. And when I say I loved it, I mean I have watched them countless times. But the introduction of stands was just too silly for my taste and I stopped watching the series after the third season. Honestly, it felt like watching a totally different anime.
Anyways, a few days ago the stone ocean part of the manga was released as anime on Netflix and I gave it a watch.
If you like the whole stands concept I guess you will like this part too. The only thing that I didn't like is that the stands felt way too overpowered, at least compared to the original ones, even to "The world" which supposedly is the most powerful. Also, the "discs" felt like they were breaking the physics of the JoJo universe. Why the f*** are they visible to normal humans if they are too he product of a stand? Meh.
Visually, I found the anime top notch, which is surprising considering it is a Netflix production, LOL. I would prefer if it was a bit more classic but I guess that is a matter of taste but I must say that I go to used to it after the first episode. Also the battles were quite original and interesting.
Definitely worth the watch if you are a JoJo fan!
