After a few years of following the Last Kingdom, it's been a while since I have gone through the first season.
Going back and rewatching Utrhed's early ordeal and encounters is great.
One thing I've noticed without much thought before is how much camera shaking there is in the early episodes. On a bigger screen perhaps this effect is amplified.
The director's style saw them film certain scenes with a camera in hand, following actors. The documentary style does provide a a different feel to the series but I think things truly stepped up when Netflix took over.
