I love #needlework and #diy projects and I will share some here in a blog just for fun. A step by step tutorial if you will. This time a :
baby-nest

The first picture shows the 9 steps.
I used grey stretch cotton polyester, and the nest consists of;
White band
Yarn
Sewingmachine
Filling
Fiber fill
Scissors
Sewing chalk
Pattern

Its a long square you sew into the fabric. You make a tunnel for the rope to make it round and pull it up after filling it. You see I used loose filling and flat pieces. In the middle there are three layers of flat filling fiber fill.
All is hopefully clear from the pictures but if there are questions please let me know. It’s fairly simple and I made this in 1,5 hour. I must admit this wasn’t the first one I did so that’s maybe not fair. But I assure you it’s a fairly simple #diy project.

Its machine washable and very soft. I heard it’s also used to change diapers on but not sure, it’s been a while since I had babies.

The end result
A baby nest to have the baby next to you without the baby rolling away from you in the bed or on the couch.
