There are a few parks in the area I am visiting, most of them down by the river valley. They look similar at the same time each is different and special in its own way. It's early spring so the weather is nice enough to go on some of these walks. Here at the top of the hill we can see the cotton wood forest. No leaves yet, it looks neat. Really loved this view!
I sure like the river and these hills! It was really relaxing and healing to come here. The river makes me feel good and now there are more birds out so am able to feel connected with nature with the bird song while I explore. Came across some interesting things, a skull, a neat rock and some inukshuks!
I like spring, this time of year is great, this is sort of a desert area so most of the grass is still brown. It was great to get out for some exercise in this environment. Went on these trails in the last couple days. I may go for another walk today. Came upon a huge hill that had a slide on it by the river
There are also some hoodoo looking hills. The dirt is really soft unlike a stone hoodoo. Glad I was able to admire it up close
There was some new plants popping up out of the soil!

It was the perfect adventure to get me into spring! I felt more meditative and relaxed afterward. Glad to get in touch with nature. Looking forward to everything greening up soon
