Parijat flowers are found in almost all areas of Bangladesh. Parijat is also known as Palash flower by many.

It is also called Mandar in regional words. It has no smell, this flower blooms by shaking the hair next to the red petals.

The tree stays asleep all year round. It erupted like fire in the month of Falgun Chaitra.

Although many people know this common mandar tree that grows carelessly, many people do not know that this tree is parijat.
