Some views are to die for....ok that's and exaggeration but yes there are some views for which you can really go to any length. Sometimes I drive down for 2 hours just to get that favorite view of mine specially up on the mountains where it takes 2 to 2.5 hours to reach and then again come back, and may be I spend around 2 hours there. My hubby tells me that I am crazy, so what, it's ok to be crazy for nature, after all that's where I get all my good energy from.
This time it was the beach side. One of the days while my Son was here for a short visit to Muscat, we planned in the evening time to drive down to the beach out of the city. On the beach there is a restaurant with a pool. So if you order some food from there then you can use the pool for free. After the long drive of 1.5 hours we were hungry so that was not an issue. We spent some time at the beach, since we reached late and it had already got dark, we decided to use the pool. I wanted to get into the pool but the water was freezing and I had no courage to step into that water. My Son did get into the pool.
It's an infinity pool overlooking the sea and the mountains. The view was just amazing and with all the colored lighting in the pool it looked very glamorous as well.
