The other day i found this stone at the beach and since i'm kind of searching for the "how" to the forming of the rings on it... So may you folks can help us a little on this.

Most likely sedimentation, and the rings are from maybe volcanic Ash or something like that. Looks like red and yellow iron oxides
yeah, my guess is iron oxides too... i'd love to know how this can form. sedimentation probably not?! we'll hopefully will know soon.
