Spider Season🕷️
Just got back from a very pleasant late afternoon/evening walk. I walk every day now and it's helped improve my fitness immensely - but that's a whole different post from this one. I had my camera with me, in the bag, in case I saw something cool. The sky was clear-ish and the light was brilliant. The other day the light was like that I regretted not having my main camera with me. I did take some shots with my iPhone, but they could have been so much better with my macro-capable companion 🕷️
There it was, a beautiful spider. It's spider season over here right now. Many of them are putting up their webs all over the place. All my windows are covered in cobweb - from the outside that is, many with a giant spider in the middle. I suppose it's almost time they laid eggs and languished away 🕷️
Somehow I didn't get as close as I could have. I didn't want to disturb the poor thing. I've seen them make these webs before and it's a miracle of nature. They seem to be working on pure instinct but who knows what mechanism drives them to create such beautiful patterns 🕷️
Peace & Love,
Adé
beautiful photos and beautiful spider
Thank you :)
Wow he’s huge ! He she
He's probably a she to be fair. The he spiders don't need that much food since they don't lay eggs.
