Bunga Seribu Bintang atau Butter Daisy mudah tumbuh dan gampang perawatannya. bisa hidup di dataran rendah yang panas sampai dataran sedang. Dapat menjadi pilihan utama untuk Anda menghias kebun dan halaman rumah. Bunga yang dihasilkan berwarna kuning segar dan memiliki jumlah banyak. Tanaman ini juga tidak membutuhkan perawatan khusus.

Daisy tergolong keluarga tanaman terbesar di dunia, spesies tumbuhan vaskular yang kaya nutrisi dan air. Bisa dijumpai di seluruh daerah kecuali di Antartika. Sebenarnya ada dua bunga tapi tumbuh menjadi satu. Kelopaknya berwarna putih dihitung sebagai bunga pertama, pusat yang berwarna kuning dan berbentuk seperti mata merupakan bunga kedua.

Daisy bisa diekstrak menjadi obat, kaya Vitamin C juga memiliki kemampuan untuk meredakan batuk dan gangguan pencernaan. Dikenal sebagai obat untuk mempercepat proses pengobatan setelah bedah dan meringankan rasa sakit. Sari bunganya bisa menyembuhkan luka pada manusia dan hewan. Lebah sangat menyukai bunganya, karena bunga ini merupakan salah satu bahan untuk menghasilkan madu.

Sebelum itu taburi tanah dengan kompos dan pastikan tempat itu terendam air. Kalau ditanam di tempat yang panas terik, lindunglah sedikit pokoknya dan siramlah selalu. Pastikan jarak antara satu pokok ke pokok yang lain kira-kira 9 hingga 12 inci (lebih kurang 30 cm). Siram selalu pada musim kemarau.

Proses Penyetekan Bunga Seribu Bintang:

Pertama siapkan peralatan untuk penyetekan berupa gunting atau pisau yang tajam. Siapkan pula hormon perangsang akar jika merasa diperlukan, bisa juga dibuat alami dari tumbukan bawang merah. Stek batang nantinya diolesi tumbukan bawang merah tersebut.

Langkah kedua, siapkan media tanam dari sekam dan kompos, atau tanah gembur.

Langkah ketiga menyiapkan bibit stek dari tanaman baik dan berkualitas Cirinya bisa mendapatkannya tanaman berdaun lebat, batang sehat dan hijau, tidak ada tanda-tanda serangan hama atau penyakit.

Memulai Proses Penyetekan:

Bibit bunga seribu bintang hasil penyetekan dapat dipindahkan ke lahan tanam permanen setelah bibit tumbuh dan mengeluarkan tnas. Biasanya dapat dipindahkan setelah dua minggu setelah semai.

Proses Penanaman Stek:

Siapkan lahan tanam dengan melakukan penggemburan tanah menggunakan alat penggembur tanah seperti cangkul. Namun, jika hendak ditanam di pot lebih mudah, cukup mengisi pot dengan tanah gembur dan selalu campurkan pupuk kandang atau kompos.

Pot sebaiknya berukuran sedang agar dapat ditanami bunga yang banyak. Tanaman bunga seribu bintang ini tidak menyukai lahan tanam terlalu lembab sehingga usahakan menyiapkan lahan tanam yang memiliki tanah mudah meloloskan air seperti tanah mengandung pasir.

Jika ditanam di tempat terbuka dapat dilakukan dengan mencabut stek bibit, sebaiknya lakukan penyiraman media semai lebih dahulu sebelum mencabut bibit stek agar akarnya tidak rusak. Setelah bibit dicabut langkah selanjutnya menanam ke lahan tanam permanen

Buatlah lubang tanam menggunakan pisau atau alat gali lainnya dengan jarak tanam 15 sampai 20 cm. Masukkan bagian akar stek ke dalam lubang dan tutup kembali dengan tanah lakukan penyiraman.

If planted in the open it can be done by pulling out seedling cuttings, you should water the seedling media first before pulling out the cuttings so that the roots are not damaged. After the seedlings are uprooted, the next step is to plant them in the permanent planting area.

Make planting holes using a knife or other digging tool with a spacing of 15 to 20 cm. Insert the root part of the cuttings into the hole and cover it with soil and water it.
