Saludos y bienvenidos, a esta mi segunda participación en la iniciativa de @phototalent, con esta fotografía de Isis una perrita que adoptamos recientemente.

La historia de Isis no la conozco, solo supimos que tiene 3 años y que había estado en un refugio para perros abandonados, que una persona a la que admiro por su labor, mantiene con sus propios recursos y la ayuda de amigos.

La adoptamos hace apenas unos tres meses y es muy amorosa. Desde que llegó a la casa, sin conocernos, nos dio cariño. Esa mirada de la fotografía, tiene un ojo azul y otro marrón y esa expresión de su cara , es la que tiene casi siempre, a menos que se asuste. Ella se asustaba con los ruidos fuertes, las motos, los camiones y los hombres, me imagino que debido a experiencias pasadas. Esto ha ido disminuyendo y ahora tiene más confianza. Cuando la sacamos a la calle, va caminado más tranquila y juega con otros perros del vecindario.

Para mis dos hijas y yo ... ah se me olvidaba y para el gato Mimí, Isis es parte de la familia.

Adoptar a un gato o a un perrito, es una responsabilidad, un compromiso, es un acto de amor. Si tienen la posibilidad de darle un hogar estable y amoroso a un animal abandonado, háganlo, muchos lo necesitan.

I don't know the story of Isis, we only knew that she is 3 years old and that she had been in a shelter for abandoned dogs, that a person I admire for her work, maintains with her own resources and the help of friends.

We adopted her only three months ago and she is very loving. Since she arrived at the house, without knowing us, she showed us affection. That look in the picture, she has one blue eye and one brown eye and that expression on her face, is the one she almost always has, unless she gets scared. She used to be frightened by loud noises, motorcycles, trucks and men, I imagine past experiences. This has been diminishing and now she is more confident. When we take her out on the street, she walks more calmly and plays with other dogs in the neighborhood.

For my two daughters and I ... oh I forgot and for Mimi the cat, Isis is part of the family.

Adopting a cat or a puppy is a responsibility, a commitment, an act of love. If you have the possibility to give a stable and loving home to an abandoned animal, do it, many need it.
