I headed up into the San Bernardino mountains for an overnight backpacking trip to... Crafts peak! I had planned to camp on the actual top of the peak, but I didn't quite make it. A late start combined with snow on the road that made the hike longer than expected made it to where I would've had to hike to the top in the dark and I wasn't feelin' it. So I found a real nice area about a half mile below the summit and hung my hammock for the night. It was a cold night, but I was prepared and was able to keep warm.

The next morning I made the final climb up to the summit of Crafts peak(8,364'). I chilled out on the summit for quite awhile enjoying the awesome views and I found the summit register and signed it. Then I headed back down the mountain, packed up my camp, and hiked back to the trailhead above Green Valley lake.
