Another of Wolfman Jack's introductions.
That's right. This has got to be the greatest record of the year.
Check it out!!
The official 1989 video for MARRS single pump up the volume begins with a few words from Wolfman Jack. I remember dancing to this one. "Whisky, boos and wine. We're the class of '89."
His
History
A song that is truly appreciated when the volume is pumped up!!
Beware of this video because when you click on this video your Youtube Algorithm will suddenly switch to 1980s.
You will get stuff like the Bengal's Walking like an Egyptian, Billy Idol, Run DMC and Vanilla Ice, but one that caught my attention was Talking Heads.
His voice reminds me so much of Robin Williams, but he is from New Zealand. Actually both of these songs were popular in the US but the first was from a British band and the second from New Zealand.
I'm still letting the days go by. I'm not a 100% yet. I'm not sure if I ever will be, but I'm getting closer to understand how to float in this blue sea. The world doesn't seem the same as it ever was. It seems more crazy and hard to get a grip on anything.
A little flash from the past reminds me of those last couple years of the cold war. Hey I guess I should add something from the Breakfast Club but I'd rather not go that way.
Enjoy these two songs and Pump up the Volume. JAM!!
You are posting from Blurtlatam. You are a good Blurt user, may you continue to multiply.
I feel most comfortable on Blurtlatam.com and blurt.one . The advantage of Blurlatam is that I can remember Freakeao and pray for you to be healthy and fully recover. As we learn and grow together more opportunities will come.
I remember this song pump up the volume when I was younger they play it on radio but mostly on shows on tv for a segment that shows some stuff, quite a nostalgic thing for me to re-hear old music. @mineopoly
I remember kids singing it in the halls and hearing it at dance parties. A lot of those songs were too catchy.
Lovely songs. Coming across them for the first time. Thanks for sharing with us.
Hi @digitaljoseph,
How are you? These songs are remnants of the 80s in a time when we still thought the world would end in nuclear war... Hmm history repeats itself.
