Is a powerful ballad recorded and performed by the American thrash metal band Metallica. It was released on April 20, 1992 as the third single from the self-titled fifth studio album Metallica (The Black Album).
The singer and guitarist James Hetfield wrote the song Nothing Else Matters ("Nothing Else Matters") inspired by the last words of the singer's grandfather. So it is not surprising that this same song was also interpreted by the formation shortly after its release as a single in the famous tribute concert after the death of Freddie Mercury.
