Virtual Choir pre COVID-19. Introducing myself

Music and art as a barrier-breaking experience

This is my first post and I want to take it as an introduction of who I am. I'm Venezuelan, 38 years old, musician, designer and marketer by profession. My idea in this blog is to share my experiences, contributions, teachings, and guides in all these aspects.

I chose this video that I recorded a few years ago, for the Virtual Choir 4 of the American composer Eric Whitacre. The name of the title is due to the fact that this man mentioned above, apparently had very clear where the world was going and many years before this pandemic that overwhelms us, Eric Whitacre was already making Virtual Choirs which were very viral at the beginning of the pandemic of COVID-19.

In the video I dared to sing 6 of the 8 voices in which the arrangement was made. I sang: Soporano 2, Alto 1, Alto 2, Tenor 2, Baritone and Bass. It was quite a challenge I set myself and an activity that made me discover that you have to break barriers, despite facing the unknown.
