Muscle Memory and Performance

in muscle •  4 years ago

Cognitive connection to the body is an important part of training.

When people say mind and body connection, it's a real form of training in itself. Visualising movements and engaging muscles involved. These are all essential to attaining better performance.

After repetition, muscle memory begins to set in. The sub conscious performance gain allows cognitive load to be applied to other tasks, enhancing performance. So always remember, training uses the mind and body in conjunction with one another.
