This is the zombie-themed movie that I actually liked. I'm glad that they didn't focus on the exaggerated scaring effect instead, they put more effort into the action and a little bit of drama.

Firstly, let me point out the obvious; I love the picture! Clearly, it's a Zack Snyder brand of cinematography.
The angles, the dynamics, and the intensity of the explosions are flawless!
Not a single glimpse of boredom during the action scenes, well except the few drama scenes which I feel is tolerable. It didn't really bother me however they took out the momentum a bit.
I just wish that they put a little back story on how the original zombies came about but I guess they don't have any twist to that and so they didn't bother making one.
Still, they showcased a different side of zombies that I haven't seen in other movies with this kind of theme before. I'll let you see that as you watched the movie yourself. It's available on Netflix.
Lastly, although the movie is good in general as it has a good start until the mid part of the movie. I just can't help but notice some of the poor dialogue that kind of ruins my mood at times.
My wife and daughters have watched this movie. :) Haven't watched it though. Adding it to my watchlist. :)
Not exactly for young kinds but I have to applaud your daughters for their bravery ;)
You won't regret :D
