My wife and I watch about 40 minutes of movies in the evening (after kids and housework, before passing out). Got any recommendations?
To give you an idea what we tend to watch, the last 3 were:
- Rescue Dawn (2006)
- Wayne's World (1992)
- Nosferatu (2024)
What are you watching now/lately?
What are some of your favourites?

I am not sure what kind of movies you will enjoy. Lately I watched these 3 which I find very soulful
Luccas World
90 minutes in heaven
Harriet
I will not disclose the stories of these, they are best watched. They are on the emotional side, so if it interests you then go ahead
Thanks, even just the titles is helpful. We can then have a look and decide. A bit like the old experience of browsing films at the local VHS rental shop, something I miss doing nowadays. Getting recommendations from friends is just as good!
Recently now it has actually been a while I have the time to watch my favourite movies
I have been so busy lately 😭
Harriet was pretty good.
The old Crow (1993) was awesome, but the new one (2024) did a good job too IMO... I think it is worth a watch!
Thanks buddy, had not heard about the remake. Will have a look!
Quite the first time I will be hearing about this movie
I am definitely going to check it out
I just watched The Quiet Girl, which I liked very much. Although, as usual, I prefered the novel it was fashioned from, Foster by Claire Keegan.
I Feel Pretty was fun. Amy Schumer
Recently I have even been so much choked that I hardly have time to watch movies
I am planning returning back though
It's a pity you didn't post the topic in the discussion forum. It's a popular topic on forums because I think that most people, like you, watch something with their other half in the evening ;D Maybe you could move the thread?

Oh, I wasn't aware of the Discussion community. I generally prefer tags.
And this is the first time I've heard that a post ("thread"?) can be moved to a different community ("forum"?). I assume that is done by editing the first tag?
no no unfortunately there is no such option for now but you can copy the content of the post you created in the discussion forum and replace the content of this one by providing a link to the thread :)
I hope soon enough the option will be made available
