Desde que las series han captado la atención de los televidentes hemos visto temáticas diversas, para todos los gustos: historia, drama, romantiscismo, guerras, humor, de las más series a las más disparatadas.
Sin embargo hacer una serie que tuviera como base el asalto (y robo) de la Casa de la Moneda de España, es decir la "fábrica de dinero" español era algo tan insólito como imprevedible.
La idea le surgió a Alex Pina. Y fue un éxito sin precedentes. Volviendo a escuchar, a nivel popular, una de las más hermosas canciones de la resistencia italiana contra el invasor nazi en la Segunda Guerra Mundial: Bella Ciao.
La Serie.
La Casa de Papel es una serie de televisión española creada por Álex Pina. La primera emisión fue emitida por Antena 3 el 2 de mayo de 2017, el 23 de noviembre.
En 2018 ganó el Premio Emmy Internacional a Mejor Serie Dramática de Televisión, convirtiéndose en la primera serie española en recibir este reconocimiento.
La historia cuenta la historia de un robo extremadamente ambicioso y original: asaltar la Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre en Madrid, imprimir dos mil cuatrocientos millones de euros perfectamente legales y luego desaparecer con el enorme botín. El creador de esta empresa es un hombre conocido como "el Profesor".
El reclutamiento de cada miembro individual del equipo no es en absoluto aleatorio: el Profesor, de hecho, selecciona cuidadosamente un grupo de individuos con antecedentes penales, quienes, por razones de extracción social, no tienen nada que perder. Cada miembro del equipo durante el robo está vestido de rojo y lleva una máscara del pintor español Salvador Dalí. Dada la prohibición de revelar su identidad, a cada miembro de la banda se le asigna el nombre de una ciudad: Tokio, Moscú, Berlín, Nairobi, Río, Denver, Helsinki y Oslo.
La chica apodada Tokio es la narradora que comenta las diferentes dinámicas de la historia. No sólo deben permanecer ocultas las identidades, sino que, por razones de profesionalidad, también está prohibido establecer relaciones personales o románticas. Los protagonistas se esconden durante cinco meses en un cortijo de la campiña toledana para prepararse adecuadamente, realizando todos los simulacros necesarios para afrontar cualquier posible imprevisto. A medida que se desarrolla la historia, surgen desacuerdos entre los ocho ladrones y el riesgo de comprometer toda la operación ronda constantemente.
Con un ingenioso expediente, la pandilla logra ingresar a la Casa de la Moneda, coordinada desde afuera por el Profesor, y desde el momento en que los ocupantes son tomados como rehenes, el líder del grupo (Berlín) decide establecer cierta empatía con cada uno de ellos, especificando de inmediato que no pretenden dañar a nadie. El confinamiento en el interior de la Casa de la Moneda se estima en aproximadamente 10 días, tiempo necesario para imprimir la suma preestablecida y crear la vía de escape.
La policía toma las contramedidas necesarias y envía al lugar como negociadora a la inspectora Raquel Murillo, una mujer con una situación personal difícil y una gran determinación. Todo parece transcurrir según lo planeado por el Profesor, incluidas las contramedidas a los diversos intentos de la policía por interrumpir el robo, pero en un momento determinado, a pesar de la cuidadosa preparación, la historia toma desarrollos inesperados incluso a nivel personal que ponen en riesgo el desenlace del robo y que finalmente cambiarán la vida de cada uno de los protagonistas, incluido el inspector Murillo.
Distribución.
La serie original lleva en emisión desde la emisión de televisión española de Antena 3 dos años: los 9 primeros episodios en primavera de 2017 y los 6 últimos en otoño. La primera parte de la primera etapa fue distribuida mundialmente a través de Internet por Netflix el 20 de diciembre de 2017 en Italia y Polonia, el 22 de diciembre de 2017 en Alemania y el 25 de diciembre de 2017 en el resto del mundo.[3] El doblaje se realiza en Roma en los estudios SDI Media y está a cargo del director de doblaje Lucio Saccone.
Netflix ha cambiado la duración y el número de episodios cinco veces, pasando de 15 originales de 70-75 minutos a 22 (13 en la primera parte y 9 en la segunda) de 40-50 minutos. La segunda parte de la primera temporada se estrenó en directo en todo el mundo el 6 de abril de 2018, excepto en Francia y España, y Netflix la estrenó el 25 de diciembre de 2017 simultáneamente con el estreno de la primera parte.
El 6 de abril de 2018 se estrenará en Netflix la segunda parte de la primera temporada, y el 25 de octubre se anunciará el inicio de la segunda temporada, con un vídeo en Netflix que muestra la lista reunida al son de Bella Ciao; El 1 de abril de 2019 se anunció la fecha de estreno de la tercera parte de la serie, que se distribuyó en el servicio de streaming el 19 de julio del mismo año. El 18 de julio de 2019, la lista anuncia la renovación por un trimestre de la llegada de 2020.

Producción.
La serie estuvo compuesta inicialmente por una sola etapa, se presentó el 2 de mayo de 2017 y concluyó el 23 de noviembre del año pasado con un total de 15 episodios, de 70 minutos de duración. Posteriormente Netflix adquirió los derechos de distribución y dividió la serie en dos etapas, con un total de 22 episodios de aproximadamente 40-50 minutos cada uno. La serie ahora consta de 3 partes, la última de las cuales se publicó el 19 de julio de 2019. El 18 de julio, el listado anunció que habrá una cuarta parte a principios de 2020.
Esta es la serie que más no ha sido vista en inglés en la historia de Netflix. En 2018, además de ganar un Premio Emmy Internacional, ganó el premio a “Mejor Serie Dramática de TV”, una hazaña sin precedentes en la historia de la televisión española.
Música.
La canción antifascista Bella Ciao aparece varias veces en la serie y se reproduce en muchos momentos emblemáticos.
Location e riprese
Aunque la serie está ambientada en la Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre, se rodó en la sede del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas por sus grandes similitudes.
La mayoría de las escenas del interior de la Casa de la Moneda se rodaron en sets de cine, las del exterior de la Casa de la Moneda se rodaron en la sede del CSIC y las de la terraza de la Casa de la Moneda se rodaron en la Escuela de Ingenieros Aeronáuticos de Madrid.
Las escenas en las que se imprimen los billetes fueron producidas en la sede del periódico ABC en Madrid.
Burlarse del sistema económico y enriquecerse al mismo tiempo, pero además: encontrar una fisura que permita hacerlo causando el mínimo daño posible a nivel humano. La atractiva fantasía que plantea La casa de papel en sus inicios, que fue tejiendo los hilos de un malestar colectivo con los de la codicia individual de cada uno de sus personajes, fue a su vez mostrando vínculos cada vez más complejos al interior del grupo.

The girl nicknamed Tokyo is the narrator who comments on the different dynamics of the story. Not only must identities remain hidden, but for reasons of professionalism, it is also forbidden to establish personal or romantic relationships. The protagonists hide for five months in a farmhouse in the countryside of Toledo to prepare themselves adequately, carrying out all the necessary drills to face any possible unforeseen event. As the story unfolds, disagreements arise among the eight thieves and the risk of compromising the whole operation is constantly present.
With an ingenious expedient, the gang manages to enter the Mint, coordinated from the outside by the Professor, and from the moment the occupants are taken hostage, the leader of the group (Berlin) decides to establish some empathy with each of them, specifying immediately that they do not intend to harm anyone. The confinement inside the Mint is estimated to take approximately 10 days, the time necessary to print the pre-established sum and create the escape route.
The police take the necessary countermeasures and send Inspector Raquel Murillo, a woman with a difficult personal situation and great determination, to the scene as a negotiator. Everything seems to go according to the Professor's plan, including the countermeasures to the various attempts by the police to interrupt the robbery, but at a certain point, despite the careful preparation, the story takes unexpected developments even on a personal level that jeopardize the outcome of the robbery and will ultimately change the lives of each of the protagonists, including Inspector Murillo.
Distribution.
The original series has been airing since Antena 3's Spanish television broadcast for two years: the first 9 episodes in spring 2017 and the last 6 in autumn. Most of the scenes inside the Mint were filmed on movie sets, those outside the Mint were filmed at the CSIC headquarters and those on the terrace of the Mint were filmed at the School of Aeronautical Engineers in Madrid.
The scenes in which the banknotes are printed were produced at the headquarters of the ABC newspaper in Madrid.
Making fun of the economic system and getting rich at the same time, but also finding a loophole that allows you to do so while causing the least possible harm on a human level. The attractive fantasy that La casa de papel (Money Heist) poses at the beginning, which was weaving the threads of a collective malaise with those of the individual greed of each of its characters, was in turn showing increasingly complex links within the group.
