I was looking forward to watching this movie Dunki, not because of the star cast in it but because the film has been made by one of the most brilliant Director Rajkumar Hirani. His previous movies have been a good entertainment. Especially the movie 3-Idiots, it was a master stroke in his list of movies. The movie got released on 21st and I booked my tickets for the 24th. After the release the reviews did not turn out to be so great but then I had already booked the ticket so I did not want to cancel it and went ahead with it.
I had booked the tickets at the PVR cinemas, the one which is near to my home. I had been there many years back, may be around 6 to 7, but then I did remember that this place is good and gives a very good movie experience. The interiors of this place does not look any less then a 5 star hotel lobby.
What caught my attention the most is this lighting.
It looks very classy and elegant.
This place has always been on the higher side when it comes to the price, not only of the tickets but also of the food that is available. You cannot bring any food from outside. They have a good variety of meals available, you can have your dinner along with the movie, it will be sufficient. We ordered for some Dimsums and I am a fan of fresh corn so that one too.
The reviews were not very great but I still did enjoy the movie to an extent. Some parts of it were good and some ok, overall it is ok to watch it one time. The only thing I did not like is, that Sharukh Khan the famous movie star of Bollywood who is acting in the lead role, looks old and for his age the character did not suit him much. He is now 58 years old and it dancing around with females half his age does not really go very well with him. He should do roles which suits his age. Otherwise the story line was reasonably ok to watch.
