All my efforts were in vain

I never took into account the rotten railway line girder.

And so it was that a few thousand bricks came down and just missed my head.
Unsure how many motorbikes I lost, how many years of restoring them too.

I live to see another day, I can rebuild the barn and the bikes, but this is not what I consider an ideal day, so you will have to excuse me for my lack of political commentary today, spent 6 hours evacuating and salvaging what I could, but 4 Kawasaki gpz900r are now gone for ever, along with some classic 2 strokes, at least I have the photos of them.

Sad day for me, sad day indeed, here is hoping you are having a better day than me.

Happy Easter if you do Easter that is.

Shit happens and we have to deal with it.

What the fuck, Bro!!! What a shitty day indeed! I'm so happy you didn't get hurt! And I'm sorry life is giving you so many hard knocks these days! 🥺

Such is life brother, got to take the good with the bad.

😱 crap that sux bro, good news is you are okay and still with us.😀

I can rebuild bikes, not heads 😀

😳 😭

I half expected it bro.

That's horrible! You were there when it happened?! I'm so sorry! As if you are not having a hard enough time...

Yes I was just going in there when it happened, 1 minute later and I would not be here to write about it.
Thank you for your concern.

Shit man - sorry to hear about the barn and the bikes, but really glad you weren't seriously injured.

Cheers brother, I can rebuild the barn and bikes, but not my head, another day above ground it is 👍

Looks like earthquake debris! Material damage accidents only bother us. The important thing is that nothing happens to you, I'm glad you're okay, get well soon.

Not pretty is it, thanks for the kind words.

My condolences. Just glad to read you didn't get buried in the bricks.

Bikes and bricks can be repaired, cheers brother.

:(

How sad what is happening... The important thing is that you and your family are well... The material can always be recovered over time, but it can be recovered... blessings friend...

Thank you kindly. 👍

Sorry for your loss. Glad you are ok.

Cheers brother, it has ended well, bikes are not so bad and easy to fix and we have a builder who knows how to restore old style buildings like our barn coming at the weekend and he is charging me very little.
Thanks for your comment.

Sounds like everything could have been a lot worse. When the bikes are fixed maybe you will be motivated to give them some more love by roaring down the road with them.

I have so many now it is impossible to ride them all and keep them all insured and with new batteries, so some are there simply to look at and leave to my children to sell when I am gone.

Maybe others would want to look at them too. NFT images, or a real museum in your old garage, who knows?

I have been trying to find somewhere to put some on display as a few of them there were only 500 made and I have 2 of the 500, and another there were 1800 made, all 3 were made in 1992 and I doubt there are more than 100 left on this planet, I would love to share the real viewing experience, I just can not find a place where. Not willing to do it on my farm as that would invite theft.

Yeah good point about the theft and sounds like you enjoy your privacy too.

That is really so sad to see all that hard work but like you say they can be repair again but you only have one life you were so lucky.

Indeed, true indeed cheers.
