Working on my self development

Starting the day on a positive note is always helpful. For some months in-between I had become very lazy. My day would also start late and previously what I would spend an hour on meditation and yoga had reduced to half an hour. My mind was so much occupied in other things that I could not focus on my practices.

Since last 2 months, I am again getting back on track and spending my mornings like before, which is like spending good time on Yoga, Pranayama and Prayers. I realise how easy it is to fall out of the line and so difficult to keep up with it. Now also there are times when I dont feel like doing it but then I keep pushing myself. Now that I am again regular with it, I also feel very energized and my day goes very active.

It is very healthy to start the day on a positive note with some good practices. During my Meditation I do a lot of affirmations and the forgiveness exercises, which includes both giving and receiving. Sometime back I had consulted one astrologer since I am always feeling that there are some blocks in my life and I am not able to understand where they are coming from. He told me that I have forgiveness issues from my past life which is creating the block for me and he advised me a set of things to do, which I now practice regularly and I dont know whether its being effective or not as it's too soon to say that. But what I can tell you is I am surely feeling very light in my mind.

All those unnecessary thoughts are kind of disappearing and they are getting replaced with healthier thoughts. Morning energy is very powerful and what gets into us in that period has an effect on us for through out the day. When I travel my routines get messed up and if the duration becomes long then it becomes a challenge to restart again. Anyways now it's been 2 months that I have been regular and I intend to continue it all the time.

We all have to work on our self development and our self development is possible only if we are in a balanced state of mind all the time. Morning practices of yoga, meditation and prayer helps bring this balance in our life.
