I am a fan of making some abstract photos now and again. Much like editing, I think there is room for some out of the box thinking when it comes to images. Sometimes, I just know even before the shot is taken if it is going to be a cool looking picture!
This is just an old metal picnic table top. I thought it had a cool pattern.

You really do the coolest mono shots! I never know until I do one if it will look right or not, even with the high contrasting textures.
