We, as humans, are endowed with a special gift. a talent unmatched by that of any other species. Naturally, I'm referring to intellect. This characteristic of ours allows our lives to be more than just means of survival.

Our brains have allowed us to accomplish far more than we ever would have imagined. In actuality, we frequently surprise ourselves by stretching the limits of what we believe to be achievable.

Without a doubt, the greatest ally we have is our minds. But you must have felt the exact opposite way quite a few times, I'm sure. Even positive things might have negative effects if they are not used carefully.

We are periodically reminded of the reasons and ways in which our thoughts might work against us. It's unfortunate. We let such a beautiful thing to work against us.

Captured in the Mind's Prison
Our brains are really good at recalling past events. I might add, in vivid detail. It is also capable of dreaming about the future and imagining goals we would like to accomplish. once more, in vivid detail.

Possessing these two attributes is beneficial. One enables us to absorb and put into practice the teachings we have previously learned. An additional one gives us something to strive for. But each of these can also create a mental prison from which it can be very difficult to escape.

You know, when we reflect on the past, we often recall all of the negative experiences we had. Things like losses, treachery, agony, and a ton of other things. This history might have a very heavy weight.

This also holds true while attempting to visualize the future. Stress and anxiety may result from it, particularly if we've veered off course or fallen short of the goals we set for ourselves. Another source of contention may be the future's unpredictability.

In other words, both the past and the future have the power to plunge us into anguish and melancholy. This causes daily struggles for a great number of people. To tell the truth, that is rather concerning.

Thankfully, there are methods for escaping the mental prison. We can learn to quiet our brains and accept that happiness is genuinely a state of mind by engaging in activities like meditation, talking to loved ones, therapy, traveling, taking time off, and a host of other activities. We can also locate it if we misplace it.

Greetings😊
