This blockchain only needs 22 KB of data to be verified

Mina aims to be the smallest blockchain in the world, stating that the protocol maintains a fixed size of approximately 22 kilobytes.

“If you're a regular node that only needs untrustworthy and unauthorized access to some accounts, it's in the kilobyte range because you only need proof and real accounts.

Mina applies zk-SNARK to Ouroboros Cardano consensus to achieve scalability and decentralization.

Unlike Zcash, which is just a cryptocurrency, Mina has a smart contract layer and a decentralized version of the application, or DApps, called Snapps.
