Touch, smell become the next big thing for the metaverse at CES 2023
Propaganda requires its messages to be delivered with emotional impacts, hence the more ersatz sensory inputs the stronger the message.
However, for those who are innately boring, clueless and inept in real life, I do wonder how the metaworse can possibly fix that.
Touch is by far the harder of the two senses to simulate. The hardware version is to slip into a sensory condom; the software version is to send signals to your brain to simulate touch. The perversions are endless.
