There were flames that shimmered. There was a strong storm outside. The old oak outside the house was shaking furiously. It was the same tree that she had loved to sit by to when she was younger. She vividly remembers sitting in the tree's shade to write and read. In fact, it served as inspiration for her very first written work. As a result, she came to appreciate art.

It was that specific tree that taught her to love who she was, what she did, and who she loved. When she used to feel depressed and no one was there to console her, it turned into her strength. She would cuddle it and feel the love of a mother for a child. She slept wrapped in her small blanket today, and all the memories came rushing back. Her life was reflected in her eyes like a mirror.

She was walking down memory lane with an empty coffee mug beside the bed. Fragments of broken glass strewn the floor. Her unkempt hair was brushing against her cheeks a little. She looked like a fox, exhausted and with silver eyes. Throughout her lonesome life in the forest, she was a confident fox who served and was given by the woods, which served as her only home and place of safety.

And with one howl of the wind, it was all over. Her spark vanished. Her breasts stopped rising and falling. The ideas and recollections all stopped suddenly. The sound of the running water and the creaking chair continued nevertheless. There was nobody around to hear the sounds, but they continued. These voices had been raised by her silence. Tears of farewell to her longing spirit. It rained down. Her memories and the watching oak's tear-filled emerald eyes were all that were left. No one will ever remember her, but the oak tree that saw a life begin and develop will never forget her.
