Every now and then I discover a new crochet stitch that I have never heard of before and have to learn to master it and use it in in as many ways as I can think of. My new favourite stitch is the "Wattle Stitch"! I even love the name! 😄 It makes very nice crochet dishcloths, and as a granny square variation, for an afghan, again, inspired by a pattern I found online, and tweeked and changed slightly. The solid blocks in the afghan are made using the "Wattle Stitch"
