Mulai dari pangsit goreng dan rebus dengan aneka isian, tahu goreng atau rebus dengan aneka isian, mie, hingga bakso goreng. Bahkan baksonya seringkali dikreasikan dengan berbagai macam isian seperti keju, cabe, daging cincang, telur puyuh, serta kondimen tambahan lain seperti usus, “tetelan”, dan lontong.
Di kota-kota lainnya seperti di Balikpapan, Bakso Malang dikenal dengan sebutan Bakwan.
