Madrasa story of my childhood

in madrasha •  last year

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Hope everyone is well. Alhamdulillah I am fine too. I will share my childhood madrasa life.

When I was 9 years old. At that time I was in Noorani III Jamaat ie (3 in Bengali).

As our third congregational year draws to a close. At that time a waj mahfil was organized in our madrasa. That is, it is organized in all madrasas as anniversary waj mahfil. So our madrasah has been done. And I had a master who asked us to participate as contestants in waz mahfil. We knew Wasekpur as Huzur. Then I was told that you will participate. And you will have three others with you.

Then I asked my master what I should compete in. Then my master said that you will translate Surah Fateha into English. Then I agreed. And another said that one of you will offer the Isha prayer and the other will say the Masla Masael. He wanted me to participate in that too. But our other teachers were saying that it is in competition not to give one two subjects. Because one person cannot be given two things. Then my master kept me with another companion. He will ask questions and I will answer in English. He continued to train us like this for almost a week.

Then when the day of our waz mahfil came our ceremony started from 3 pm. Then other students recited kerat, ghazal, hadith, masala. Thus we spent until Maghrib. Then, after Maghrib, four senior students of our madrasa performed a ghazal. Then came our speaker. And he spoke until Essar. Then after Esher it was our time. Then our names were called and we went up on the stage. And we performed our service as taught by my master. Then after ours is over. We had another team and they served them as well. Then another speaker came and he also spoke. And after Tina a ghazal was performed. And then another kerat was performed. Then another speaker came and he also spoke. And when 11 o'clock struck, it was almost the end of the waj. Then went and distributed the results to everyone. Then after the big congregation prize distribution, it was our time. Then my place came first and then I had another team and their place was second. Then another boy from our congregation came third. In this way, the distribution of prizes to everyone is over. Or everyone went home and we also came home with our prize. Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarkatuh. Allah is Hafez.
