Some time ago when I was in the forest I managed to capture several photos of insect species. Especially those that are small.
Like the photo of the small insect below which at first glance looks like a ladybug but it is not a ladybug but is part of the tortoise beetle. And I myself am very sure that these beautiful beetles are part of the Cassidinae (tortoise and leaf-mining beetles).
Not only that, in a location that is not much different I also found the larvae of a species of tortoise beetle and that seems to be the larvae of the Aspidimorpha sanctaecrucis beetle.
When I found this larva, I ignored it, but because of its unusual appearance, I finally decided to take a picture of it. Finally after I used the help of Google Lens, I managed to identify it and it was the larvae of a species of tortoise beetle.
Then there is also a caterpillar or also the larva of a butterfly whose shape also quite catches my attention. So I also did not miss the opportunity to shoot some photos.
And again I took advantage of the help of Google Lens to identify the caterpillar. The matched result was the Graphium agamemnon butterfly larvae.
