Shamim lived in a small village. The name of the village was Shantipur. The people of Shantipur village were very simple and happy. But Shamim's mind was always restless, as his girlfriend Tanya was in a relationship with another man.
Shamim and Tanya's love story started from childhood. They attended the same school and spent a lot of time together. Gradually their friendship turns into love. But Tanya's parents wanted to marry her off to a son of a rich family. Tanya accepted the parents' decision, but Shamim could not.
Shamim decided that he would never let Tanya be anyone else. One night, when Tanya was walking alone outside the house, Shamim went and grabbed her by force. Tanya was terrified and begged Shamim to let her go. But Shamim did not listen to Tanya's request. He said, "You are only mine, I will not let you be anyone else's."
Shamim took Tanya to his house and forcefully married her. Tanya was devastated inside, but she had no choice. All of Shamim's family accepted this marriage, as they loved Shamim very much. Tanya slowly began to accept, but the old pain remained in her heart.
Years later, Tanya and Shamim have a son. The boy was named Rahat. Tanya found all her happiness in Rahat. But Shamim always understood that Tanya could never fully accept him from her heart. That old guilt lingered in Shamim's life too, because he knew that in order to get her love, he had taken away Tanya's freedom.
The lesson of this story is that love is never forced. Love is a matter of mutual consent between two people. Love is not gained by taking away one's freedom, it only destroys the meaning of the relationship.
