Cost of Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day!

I was taking with my brother in law a couple of days ago and he was stressing trying to fine the right gift at the right price for his girlfriend. The numbers he was saying sounded high to me so I ended up looking up the stats:

Man, Valentine’s Day is expensive! My wife and I have been married for 12 years so we don’t buy each other gifts but usually go out for a date night without kids. Spending that on gifts plus a date night out makes Valentine’s Day a pricey one - but I guess you can’t put a price on love right!
