What is Beer Poking?
Beer poking is an age-old tradition which dates back more than 400 years. It's a process of heating up a metal beer poker and plunging it into a cold beer. The hot metal poker caramelizes residual sugars in the beer and creates a smoky, marshmallow-like toasted character. Think of it as a reverse hot chocolate—cold beer flowing through warm foam.
