One important thing: you will see your votes worth zero for now. You need over 3,000 BP to start seeing valuable votes. This is an unfortunate consequence of a bit of code that was forked over from steem - I have fixed it, but the fix will go live with the coming HF3. When exactly? dunno. lol. soon.
