Barely escaped…

At our old job 10 years ago, we had a girl in the accounting department. There was nothing unusual about her.

And then one day a guy comes to us. They immediately noticed each other and after a couple of months they began to go to dinner together. He walked her home several times. Everything was good, the guys are happy.

One fine day, the guy invited me to "dinner and watch a movie." She agreed, agreed on a time. In the evening at the appointed time, she did not appear and did not answer the calls.

The next day at work, she said that their mutual sympathy was a mistake. And they won't succeed. The guy did not understand what had happened, and why in one evening her attitude towards him had changed so much. Everyone is in shock.

After a couple of weeks, as the opportunity turned up, we ask her friend from the accounting department what happened to them.

It turned out that the girl went to dinner with him that evening, and stumbled, fell, breaking her right knee in the blood. We were surprised, this happens to people, it's okay.

It turned out that the girl had a story in her life. When she was 10 years old, she and her parents and their friends went to rest on the river. And adults, already drunk, decided to go boating. They called her, and she ran hopping to the boat. On the way, he clings to a snag and serves, breaking his right knee to the blood. Mom grumbled, got out of the boat and went to work on her daughter's knee. And the rest swam. After 15 minutes, the boat capsizes, and everyone is trying to somehow swim to the shore. Luckily, everyone made it, albeit with great difficulty. But the girl and mother did not know how to swim, and by such a “lucky accident” they did not get into that boat. Since then, she began to take various signs very seriously, and even more so to such falls.

The girl told her friend that if she had reached him that evening, then something very bad had happened. She sincerely believes in it. And she didn't want to talk to that guy anymore. And she fully believed that she had barely escaped that evening from trouble.
