Yesterday, I received feedback for one of my edited photos (which I really appreciate) and it prompted me to have a look back on the photo and do some fine-tuning to it. In my opinion, the result was more pleasing than the original, here is the new version.
While this is the first edit that I did.
The original intention for the first edit is to give it a classic film look that is almost monochromatic. I feel that it got lost along the way and it resulted in a confused film look.
So what I did on the latest version is that I brought back the colors to make it look lively. I enhanced the colors to achieve the effect and I also added more clarity to the details.
As a result, the pear looks more pleasing.
Again, I'm really glad how other users are giving me nice feedback.
Lol. Sorry, I missed to look for that intention. After reading this, it reminded me of a message from my instructor when I was having my creating music writing / music theory crash course:
Behind every song or lyric (or art), there is an intention from the writer or composer. There are the casual listeners, and then there are those trained fellow composers. Sometimes, to appreciate an art, you need to look at it from the eyes of the composer to see his or her intentions.
It's ok bro :)
TBH, I appreciate your feedback more than the ones who leave simple generic comments.
I'm thankful!
