When I was in the Isle of Wight, I saw all these old stamps in a charity shop. My dad actually used to collect stamps so I thought maybe I’d keep it in the family LOL. Actually I’m finding it really enjoyable sorting through and seeing if I have any rare ones so far, split them into boxes of new and ones that look really old. It is actually really difficult to find stamps that are worth anything because there was just so many produced, but I have found a few that are worth 7 to £20 which way more than covers what I spent on the whole lot of them which was about £18 on about 7 bags I am not even done yet! Still hoping that elusive £20 k stamp is hiding in there 🤣🤣

I think it is as you say, since many stamps are made, it is unlikely or difficult to find one that is worth thousands, but it is good to see that already with the ones you have classified you have recovered your initial investment :)
