There are several things that you can do to increase your happiness. However, none of these alone will bring you all the happiness that you want.
STEP 1: Set Realistic Expectations
Don't set yourself up for disappointment by not accepting reality. There's really nothing wrong with your life if you're making money and living comfortably. It just means that you're not living the life you deserve yet.
STEP 2: Change Your Relationship With Food
Learn how to cook healthier foods. If you're not ready to change the foods you eat entirely, then you can start eating healthy, balanced meals.
If you haven't been cooking at home much, try some new recipes. If you've always wanted to learn to cook, now is the perfect time.
If you don't know how to cook at all, don't worry. It takes practice and a little learning before you master the art. You can start small and work your way up.
Start by buying one new recipe per week. After a month or so, add another. Gradually increase the number of recipes you make at home and start learning to cook more.
Step 3: Set Goals
When you set goals, you'll be forced to take action towards achieving them. This motivates you to accomplish things that you would not otherwise do.
Set goals every month. Every day is a good day to accomplish a goal. Set a goal for the first day, then set another one for the second day, etc.
You can also keep track of your progress and adjust your goals each month.
Set a goal to complete an exercise routine every day for a month. You may find that doing this increases your enthusiasm for exercise and makes you enjoy your workout more.
If you can't manage daily goals, then set monthly and yearly goals instead.
For instance, if you want to lose weight, set a monthly goal of losing.5 pounds per week.
Keep track of your progress by setting up a chart that shows your progress.
If you set long-term goals, break them down into smaller, weekly goals.
If you want to go on a trip next summer, first buy a plane ticket. Then, once you know the date, start saving up for a vacation.
STEP 4: Spend Time with Friends and Family
Spending time with friends and family makes you happy. But you probably already knew that.
If you don't see your friends and family often enough, then it's time to start scheduling dates to see them.
Start by taking breaks from work or school to spend time with friends and family.
Find time during the day to spend time with loved ones. A short phone call or text will make you feel less stressed and more in touch with people who matter.
Get away with your friends. If you only spend time with people you work with, then you're missing out on a lot of great opportunities.
Set up meetups at local coffee shops, libraries, parks or whatever place you can
Very good advice
