If I am being honest, I don't know much about emotions. I think I've seen them but never really understood why they happen. That is until I decided to change my life forever by developing emotional intelligence.

Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognize, understand, assess, control and utilize emotions in order to promote healthy personal relationships.



When we understand what causes us to feel the way we do, we can learn how to manage and use those feelings in a positive way. This can improve our relationships, career and life in general.

By developing your emotional intelligence, you'll be able to:

Understand your own emotions, the differences between emotions and feelings, and how to differentiate them

Assess situations and people with the ability to identify strengths, weaknesses, and needs

Control your emotions to take control over your life

Identify the root cause of your emotions so you can develop and implement a plan for improvement

Utilize emotions to make decisions and move forward
