The Streetfood Attempt Went Wrong

I was asked to visit the office for a week so I had to daily travel from home. It was very tiresome work so Harith arranged accommodation for one day of the week. So I could easily cover two days without tiresome bus travel.

To show my gratitude for the support he gives I thought of buying a small surprise gift for him. I ordered a box of brownies with I ❤ U letters from Moma's brownies. During the days at the office, I tasted brownies from this shop and they were crazily delicious.

As I got no chance to visit the shop, I ordered via Uber Eats.

In the evening our plan was to go for street food after work. Our target place was Marine Drive. When we reached the place it was too early so only one truck was open.

After referring to the menu we ordered a kind of puri and a chai. Actually, with the first bite, I was disappointed because it wasn't the taste of my head. It tasted like some kind of Chatni. We barely manage to finish the dish of 5 Paani Puris. Chai was kind of good.

It was like a waste of money for spending the amount of a meal but not enough to cover hunger. So we decided to go to Thalappakkatti. As I saw very good reviews about Thalapakatti in steemit before we wanted to try it out.

So we went to the nearest branch of the restaurant. It was a different atmosphere. The restaurant looked so south Indian and also smelled so good. We ordered a Biriyani and Chicken noodles. We had to order two Buriyanis because the buriyani was delicious. Oh, I can't describe it! I have never ever enjoyed such a delicious biriyani.

After having a good dinner we went to accommodation. It was the time to give my gift to Harith.
