The Story of Fence Wall

It has been one year since we finished the main construction of our house and we have been living here for almost nine months now. But still, we had a list of pending activities to complete.

The fence wall is one of the large-scale activities of our pending list. The front border of our land had no fence and it was too exposed to the road. As the last thing of 2023, we decided to start work on the fence wall in front of the house.

Once we settled with some sort of finance requirements that needed to work, the first thing we did was check the fence wall design suitable for us. First, we had to decide whether we were going to do a fully covered wall or a wall with some blank spaces which allowed us to see the house from the outside.

As usual, we did online research on sample designs which we can take some ideas. Initially, we were interested in a picket fence but same time we saw some consequences.

So we thought to go on a field trip to check some Fence Wall designs nearby.

There we could identify some designs, and some mistakes that people had made, and a few gate designs.

We stopped by following two designs over the idea of a picket fence. The covered fence wall had an elegant look and also it can be decorated with beautiful molding.

So we filtered out the above two designs and also finalized a design for our fence wall as well. The second thing was picking the correct meson for the work. There was a known person in the house next door to one of our selected locations.

Using that contact we were able to contact a Meson and believe me the other fence wall we picked was also done by him. After the price estimation, we decided to give the contract to him. We got some ideas and adjustments to our proposed design and we started the work.
