Had a Walk at Baddegama Park

This weekend was the weekend that we visited my parent's house. We normally spend two nights per month there. Mostly we spent time hanging out and petting dogs here. So my mother proposed to us to visit the Park which was opened recently here.

We had seen the park before but never stopped by, so we decided to go to the park for an evening walk. We had no preparation for this so we went with normal casual dressed with slippers.

I must say that there were plenty of dogs including this cute buddy. They were very clean and healthy dogs and also the park was dog poo free.

The park was not too big but had spread over enough area. It seems some places are not finished yet but it consists of a small children's play area and lots of open and sheltered benches.

The entrance was nicely decorated with a pond of blue lotus.

Our first round was to get to know the place. There was a pretty large pond in the middle of the park with various fish inside. This pond was picture-perfect.

There were a few couples and kids at the park but the place was not too busy. So we started to walk for 10 rounds around the park.

Initially, it was a little lazy for me but timely we finished ten laps. That was quite refreshing. Maybe next time we should prepare more for having a good walk here in the evening!
