Client Visits

Last week, I had to go to the office after some time. This time, a client site visit fell on the day, and I volunteered to join the event.

As my job role is related to backend activities, I rarely get opportunities to visit client sites. The chances I get are normally not very enjoyable because every time they start to ask lots of questions regarding our project. Anyway, this time was no exception, as it was another knowledge-sharing session for which I had already prepared myself to face tons of questions.

This time, we visited a Finance Company that is very famous for leasing and pawning. Since they are going to use our product very soon, we had to provide some understanding about how the L1 support works.

We arrived there very early because we allocated enough time in case we encountered heavy traffic. Fortunately, we managed to be there by 9:30 am.

With 30 minutes left before our session, we prepared the necessary equipment setup.

My friend and I were there to conduct the session, so she covered all the frontend areas. As expected, they had plenty of questions and needed clarification, so we spent some time explaining to them.

I had to cover the backend and architecture-related parts. The session continued until 1 pm as scheduled.

After the session, they provided us with lunch too. It was a very new and fantastic experience for me, and I also got to know some new people who work there.
