Along the Foot Prints of Past

It has been 7 years since I left the school. I don't feel it as a long time, because I still recall my memories at school. Eventhough we didn't have phones to capture memories of those days, they are replaying inside my memory from time to time.

After years, last Sunday, I got the opportunity to visit my school again. It is to watch the Maname Stage drama. My parents love to watch this kind of thing, hence I deiced to buy tickets for them. The venue for the drama was our main hall where I had a number of victorious memories.

From the first step I put at the main gate, my heart started to fill with sadness and loneliness. Once I was a prefect and did my duty at the main gate. The main gate was some here that no prefect liked to do duty. But it was an opportunity to me to be known by everyone.

In the above picture, you see the herbal garden we did as Environmental Cadets in 2010. The plants have grown a lot and I felt it a lot.

School hadn't that much of a significant physical improvement compared to our time. But seems much old and abandoned.

Thousands of memories were flowing to my mind including the memory of Kadiya. She is a dog who grew up at the school and every morning she followed me to class, no matter where my class was located, It happened from grade 9 to the last day of my school. Our dog Lasi reminds me, of Kadiya, as they both look the same and have the same behavior. Kadiya is just a bigger version of Lasi.

There is one place still remains looks the same. The following statue and garden looked exactly the same during our time and even now.

The drama was good, but what I most enjoyed was the footprints of my school-age memories.

I am certain, everyone missed the schooldays. The people and the memories we have encountered along those years are precious and genuine, worth remembering.

Of course it's really worth to remember our old school memories. These days in our country, there are some events called "Back to School". I am waiting to see such a event in our school too.

Yes, also our high school batchmates always coordinates with others for our batch reunion or homecoming but many of us are working abroad. Like me, I haven't attended yet even once.
