Are you aware of the acronym ACM? It stands for: Action, Actions, Catastrophic Results. When you take an action, whether it's accomplishing a goal or achieving a milestone, it is considered "accomplishment". The only qualifications for this title are that you have to take actual actions and have a catastrophic result. So how do you know what actions are Catastrophic Results and what actions qualify as an "accomplishment"?

First, we start by examining accomplishments from a more philosophical perspective. What accomplishments do you have that can be called "Catastrophic Results"? For me, I have no real, tangible Catastrophic Results from my efforts. However, I have a feeling that some people would call them accomplishments. If you have accomplished very little, in reality, you have not really achieved anything at all. But, that doesn't matter because you have moved on from the point you started from.

By definition, Catastrophic Results does not require any effort on your part. They simply come about as a result of another action-your taking an action. Let's look at two examples. One involves a car accident and one involves "winning" a "fitness competition".

In the car accident example, you did something: you got medical attention. You may even have needed an ambulance to come to your aid. This action might have kept you out of the door of a burning house and could have prevented extensive damage to your vehicle. If you didn't get medical attention, you may have lost your vehicle. If you won a fitness competition, you may have won a ton of weight and gotten back into shape.

By definition, Catastrophic Results is rare and unlikely. That doesn't mean they're unachievable. On the contrary, they do not require much effort on your part. Catastrophic Results is the foundation of every successful Goal, Achievement and Marketing System.

To accomplish any goal or to achieve any achievements, you need to build Catastrophic Results along with the foundation of all successful Goals, Achieves. How can you do this? The answer is simple: by doing your best at what you love to do. The more you do it, the better you will get at it. This will require that you put aside time for yourself each day to accomplish the goals you have set for yourself.

Now, this does not mean you have to spend hours together, reading books and watching DVDs. It does mean you must put some time aside each day to do the things you enjoy doing. Each time you accomplish one of your goals together, you must celebrate the accomplishment. (You should also take some time to think about what you learned about your goals and about how you can make them better.) Then, you must move forward to the next goal.

Your friends and family members will certainly want you to be happy. They will support you if you let them. But it's your choice. If you want your friends and family to feel good too, each time you accomplish a goal, you must celebrate your success and talk about ways you can improve your future goals.

This means you must use your time to listen to what they are saying and to try to find out how their lives are going. It will give you an opportunity to ask them how their lives are. You will be able to see where there might be room for improvement. This will give you a chance to work together on issues that are of mutual interest. And it will lead to you spending more time together.

Another important part of accomplishing your goals is that you must give each other a lot of personal space. One of the reasons we tend to procrastinate is that we are anxious about sharing what we are working on with our friends and family. But this is not the way to accomplish your goals. You must give yourselves some personal space so that you can work on your goals. This space could be just as private as the bedroom. It could even be just a hallway.

Just make sure you give yourselves time to really enjoy accomplishing your goals. Even if you spend a lot of time together doing the things you need to do for the day, make time to spend just being together. If you're at a restaurant, order a dish, and chat for a few minutes. If you have time to talk, it gives you both time to think about each other and build a stronger relationship. So don't waste time by focusing on your job or other daily chores.

When you do set aside some time to spend with each other on a regular basis, you'll find that you're much more likely to stay motivated. You must also remember that time apart is very precious. You should choose a schedule for when you take a few days off and stick to it. This will help you make sure you are not putting any unnecessary pressure on yourself to accomplish your personal and professional accomplishments.
