Procrastination is a horrible habit.
In order to be alive and to thrive, we need a sense of urgency. Procrastination takes effort, and the tasks we put off weigh in our mind.
As a former procrastinator, I have taken steps to abandon this malicious practice. I use productivity software, lists and understand how acidic procrastinating is.
I have to make sure to take note on my progress to avoid backsliding. Backsliding into procrastinating is a bad idea, and it can lead to complacency and loss.
I am telling everyone I know about how procrastination kept me from growth and from thriving. It kept me wasting time and emotion, as tasks kept piling up and I even missed deadlines. Using productivity software at work, writing lists with tasks and make sure to effectively prioritize tasks.
I make sure to risk rank and prioritize my tasks to ensure I don't procrastinate or miss deadlines. I also find that when I complete critical tasks, I celebrate and take time out. When tasks are no longer lingering on my mind, I am free to pursue more growth opportunities.
