Treating myself

Last evening I went to the mall, I wanted to buy a dress for myself to wear on the occasion of my house warming next week. I went to the same city mall which is my favourite and I keep sharing it's pictures with all the lovely decor that they have as per the seasonal themes. It's a huge mall, with almost all the major brands there.

I was not looking at anything expensive, I wanted something in moderate range but I wanted an indo-western dress for the occasion. Since it's a very special occasion, the dress also has to be nice. To my disappointment after spending 3 hours at the mall and going through every shop suiting my budget I could not find a single dress that I would say, it's a wow. I did not want to pick up anything just for the sake of it. The dress had to have the first look love, and I could not set my eyes on any of the dresses what I saw. Then I thought of looking at a little higher range and I liked one dress finally but sadly my size was not there.

After that I gave up completely and thought of going to some other place in a day or two. I did not end up empty hand, I bought a few utility items for home from home centre. So it was not a total waste of time. After which I thought of treating myself with a cup of tea. At the mall there's a fancy coffee shop, I got a seat there and enjoyed a cup of Chamomile and Mandarin herbal infusion along with a dish of Chicken Bruschetta. It was past my dinner time and I was hungry so I could not resist.

Today morning I was arranging an old cupboard with some of my mother-in-law things still in it. It's been 8 years she has passed away and I have not removed all her stuff. There are some of her few clothes which are still there. I was thinking of giving it away in an old age home. While sorting out her things I found a very pretty Saree. It's an Indian attire and instantly I had this flash on my mind that I should wear this saree of her's for the house warming. It would be like a blessing.

Possibly this was also the reason why I could not find a single dress in such a big mall yesterday, and how today morning I happened to arrange this cupboard and find this saree. Wearing this saree will be like her presence and blessings on this big occasion. It would be so nice to have her energy around on this joyous occasion.

It's a very pretty green colored embroidered saree. Green is the color of Abundance and prosperity. Truly the universe make things happen in a miraculous way. My problem is sorted and I am clear of what to wear.
