As the weekend approaches, many of us look forward to taking a break from our daily routines and recharging our batteries. It's a time to spend with our loved ones, pursue our hobbies and interests, and simply relax.
Just like many other people out there , i also try to do this and this was my first day of holiday today and i was planning to do what everyone else do on their weekend. However, the media of our current times often have a different agenda that destroys our weekends sometimes.
The media often focuses on broadcasting news that creates hate and division among different groups of people. This can have a negative impact on our mental health and it can also cause problems like stress and anxiety as well.
It's important to be aware of this and take steps to protect ourselves from these negative influences.
One way to protect ourselves is to limit our exposure to negative news. This means being mindful of the types of media we consume, and choosing to avoid news stories that are likely to create feelings of anger or frustration.
Unfortunately maximum number of news channel in my country are soldout and they all are seen showing the same thing. So it is the same thing all over the media.
So , we should choose to focus on more positive news stories, such as stories of hope, resilience, and kindness but as i said majority of media on television are the same, where can we find these types of news stories.
Find them on the youtube, listem to those who are not biased and show the truth.
We should focus on the positive things in our life to stay away from these negativities. We all have a family and we should focus on them.
Believe it or not, Ignoring them is the best solution in my opinion.
So , as we prepare to return to our busy work schedules, it's important to take the time to protect our mental health. By being mindful of the types of media we consume, practicing self-care, and cultivating a positive mindset, we can ensure that we are ready to face the challenges that lie ahead.
Also as i said above do not forget to ignore them. Sometimes the only solution is to ignore. I have not even shared about what news i watched because i don't want my blog to be a source to a hate speech channels.
